Leavesliketinyflames is a Chaotic screamo band from the middle of the desolate prairies of Manitoba, where from a dingy carpenter’s garage comes forth the sounds of heavy screams and mathy melodies. FFO: Train breaks down, Jerome’s Dream, Drive Like Jehu.
A Recorded Dawn are a four piece band from Victoria, British Columbia. Self-identifying as a screamo band, while sparsely incorporating elements of post-hardcore, post-rock and slowcore, their sound drifts between soft, melancholic tenderness and dark, hopeless, crushing heaviness. After completing their 2026 cross country tour this summer, during which they play Winnipeg for the first time, their debut LP will be released in the fall through Zegema Beach Records.
